no dog should be left out side by its self. the corgi is to small to defend from predators, so no

Corgis tend to want to be right in the middle of the family action. They are very loyal and want to be where you are as much as possible. Mine would be VERY upset with me if I left her outside.

My corgi is inside when I am at home, but outside when I'm at work. As long as it has plenty of shelter, shade and food it's perfectly fine outside. If I'm home though he's inside with me. Some corgi owners are crazy protective about Corgi's being outside. If you care for the mand have a good spot for him outside - he or she will be fine :)
