I can tell you from first hand experience as I've had a collie. If it is a male it will be 60 to 70 lbs. when full grown. Tons and tons of grooming required !!!!! Not a low maintenance dog and needs LOTS and LOTS of exercise or they go crazy !

The size of a collie puppy depends on the size of the parents. The average collie is 50lbs- 65lbs for a female.Males are 65-80. Puppies will vary in size. some weigh 5-8 lbs for the females some males weigh 7-12 lbs. This is an average.

Collie males tend to be 60-80 lbs and females 50-70 lbs and puppies tend to be 12 lbs and under. This breed needs an average grooming and an average amount of exercise and then the will be pleased. Collies are the most loving breeds and the loving will not stop until they die. I recently lost mine 1 month ago he was the best dog I ever had.
