I got a tri Collie purebred about three weeks ago. She was in bad shape and hadn't been groomed for a while. I just took her to the groomer and she pee'd blood. Scared every one. They started talking stones. I'm worried and she will see a vet in a few days. Did some one pawn off a sick animal on me. She is so beautiful, but I will be honest, I can't afford a lot of surgery. What is the prognoses.I want to do my best for her. At this point you know as much as I do

If you cannot care for your Collie, I would surrender her to a NO KILL shelter or organization. They will give her the proper care she deserves, just be careful where you give her to, not all rescues are what they appear to be. Also you should contact her previous owners and demand that they explain to you. And if you can, go to a vet ASAP. Peeing blood is not natural.

You should definitely check with the breeder to see why he urinated blood.

Just an update to my question. She finally got a good going over by my vet and had a bladder infection. It took about a month to get her back on her feet again. According to the vet that I have had for over ten years, she had not had very good care. After three months with me she is now getting on her feet and is such a joy. I am not sorry I rescued her. Still has some problems that is under treatment, but will recover. Hoping for a long life for her.
