Any large dog put with any tiny or young dog is not a good idea. Not being socialized will make a dog scare easily & sometimes do or react in ways more social dogs wouldn't generally react. If it were me, I would not place the two together by any means, other than the puppy on a person's lap ... It is odd that the lab isn't socialized and it makes for such an akward situation for both the lab and those who might like to socialize with it due to the high level of unpredictability and potential for harm done. Please be very careful with your little one & don't place him down just because someone says "oh he (the lab) is fine". Use your wise judgement, just like a mom with their child would :)
