I recently got a cockapoo. She looked pretty rough when I got her but got her into the vet the same day and now my Eva is doing good. The only issue is potty training cause she was kept outside and not much was done with her. I did buy some puppy pads and I put them down and she will potty on it sometimes. Then she has the times where she just goes where ever she wants. Any suggestions on the best way to potty train her??? Thanks

Since she has not been used to living inside, it would be important to keep her confined to a specific place in the house, such as the kitchen. Your cockapoo doesn't get free reign of the house until she is trustworthy. When you are home take her outside regularly to potty and praise her like crazy and give her a few treats when she goes. If you can be consistent, it won't take too long till she gets the idea. Cockapoos are usually smart pups and learn fast. We hung bells on our sliding door and our dog quickly figured out, with some training, to ring the bells when he needed to go out. A book on housebreaking from the library could also be helpful.
