do cockapoos shed their hair?

No dont worry, cockapoos shed little ( like a person does) or no hair at all. I used to worry about my puppy because at first when they are still just puppies, it seems like they are shedding wayyyy too much, but it goes down.

Don't let people tell you that cockapoos don't shed. Not all cockapoos are "non-shedding". Some get more traits from the poodle side of family and don't shed or shed very little but others, much like my 8 month old cockapoo Bailey get more from the spaniel side (she had flat hair on her back) and shed a whole lot! But it's worth it in the end...

It depends whether the cockapoo is a first or second generation, poodles hair is the dominant so first generations tend not to shed, only a tiny amount of hair when brushing, like a human's.
