My Cavalier has just been diagnosed with interdigital cysts, and I understand that they can be hard to treat. Has anyone had any success in getting rid of them?

I have been battling the same problem for the last 2.5 years, blood tests, skin tests, lots of vet visits and tables, he is on 7 a day.. and it's only getting worst. My Cavalier now can't even walk up the stairs due to these

My Cavailier gets them on her front two feet. First, we switched to a hypoallergenic dog food and took out all chicken, beef, and pork from her diet. That seemed to help a bit with the feet, but mostly it helped with her ear infections. I also noticed that the cysts only appeared between 24-48 hours after her grooming appointment. Therefore, I am now researching to buy some special shampoos for sensitive skin. We also got an ointment that has a steroid in it from the vet that we put on the cysts once they pop up. This at least keeps her from licking it and helps with any pain until it drys up just like a scab. But these are definitely reoccuring and pop up every month or so. I am just assuming it is some type of skin allergy that affects this breed.
