I have a 5 month old Cane Corso puppy, he has been a very avid learner and willing to please in most areas of training. However, I am a bit concerned with his activity level. He seems to be quite lazy and very slow-moving. When he plays with my German Shepherd puppy, he seems to be so much slower even though they are the same age. Is this normal?

Cane corsos are a mastiff type breed, and that being true they do not have boundless energy like a lab, or a golden or a shep. or a doberman. They were bred to chase wild boar at a steady even pace, or chase the bad guy off the property, and then go lay down till next time. This is what a true corso behavior should be!
