Most dogs do, especially intelligent breeds--and Canaan Dogs are very intelligent. It would of course depend on the individual.

Almost any dog will be destructive if bored and under exercised. This breed is highly intellegent and gets bored easily, so odds are pretty high one would. I would not get a Canaan dog unless I was able to meet it's needs for physical and mental exercise.
