Hi i have a male pedigree Cairn Terrier he will be 4 in Feb 2013 he is very Male Dominant & snappy. I love him so much but struggling with him at Meal Times is very Bad & snappy then around food. I am in tears as he is so loved & started doing this around a year ago as I do let him have my food. Also feel i am doing everything wrong ... can anybody help me or i need to let him go to another home hate this Feeling Thanks all Julie

Dear Julie, NEVER, EVER, give table food to your dog. Give him a good dog food like Blue Buffalo, or Iams.Ask you vet the amount you should give him. BEFORE you give him his food, tell him to sit.THEN give him his food. From, vet2b

Dear Julie, u should NEVER EVER give your dog table food, Because he will just get worse and worse the more u do it. And he will get used to it after a few times. I hope it gets better!!!!!!!

My Carin will be 4 this month; we never feed him from the table . . . his food is his, our food is ours. He may beg quietly at our feet, but he does not get people food. I have found Carin's to be harder than all my other (poodles, cockers, american eskimo) because they are such mischivieous tricksters; but with dicipling myself and him at the same time it has worked.
