I have a 6 yr. old 1/2 English Bulldog and 1/2 Boston Terrier. He has a VERY active gastrointestinal system. Is there any certain type of food, or anything I can give him to make him less "stinky"? He can no longer sleep on his bed in my bedroom because he farts too much.

Unfortunately both breeds are related and both are termed as gassy breeds. However you can help REDUCE the gas with proper diet. You will never eliminate it however. My suggestion is, from 16 years experience with English bulldogs, eliminate the corn in the diet!! Research your foods ingredients if your serious about this. Over half the dog foods on the market have some type of corn in its food. Corn cannot be digested, and is an unhealthy filler that you find in "cheap, cheaper and cheapest" foods. A few brands to look into: natures recipe (its about the cheapest premium corn free diet out there at about $39 a big bag).. Nutro's Natural choice, Nutro Ultra, Blue Buffalo, simply nourish, castor Pollux, wellness are just a few to try. I feed Natures recipe lamb and rice. Thanks! "Green Akers Bulldogs" in Oologah.
