I got 9 month old male Bull Terrier. I recently got another one female Bull Terrier, shes about 4 months old. The problem I got is that the male one keeps attacking the puppy. 70 percent of time they are playing with each other sharing toys and all that stuff. By attacking I mean hes actually biting her. The thing is most of the time its cause of attention like if I would pet older one and puppy would come he will attack. Some times it happens for no reason. Both dogs guard their food but older one starts biting if she comes anywhere near him while hes eating. Puppy just growls at him when he trys to steal her food. I dont want to neuter him cause I want them to make some puppies when they both be about 2-3 years old

We rescued a male bully ,he was two .A year later we rescued a female bully ,same age Both were neutered and spayed It was love at first sight. We had them for ten years. In August 2012 ,she died of cancer. He went into a huge depression and is still very depressed A few months after she died,we returned and rescued another 6 yo spayed female bully For the first few days they seemed to get along well Then she started to attack him whenever she had the opportunity After a scary week ,we had to return her She probably had to be the only dog in a home My guess is that not all dogs are compatible We plan to try again with another bully rescue because we love having two dogs in the family
