Our Brittany is wild and goes around the neighborhood stealing toys and trying to play with the kids across the street. She also got tapped by a car because she was in the road. Any suggestions on how to train her to be more obedient?

How old is your brittany? Most act this way if they are young and/or not getting enough excercise at home. Your brittany needs TONS of excerise, especially when a puppy. They need to run and take regular walks. I trained my Brittany to run alongside me while I bike. For bad behavior - You need to "catch them in the act" when misbaving. If they run out of the yard, yell "NO!" as soon as the cross the property line, so they know where the line is. The more you correct the bad behavior, the quicker they'll learn. Be firm, but not abusive. Brittany's are extremely senstive to punishment. Also, if she/he keeps taking the kids toys, consider getting her some fun toys of her own. Mine loves the "stuffless" animals. Good luck! And Don't give up - Brittany's are totally worth the effort. They return your love and obedience 10-fold. Patience!!
