No Miniature breed. Britts vary in size, mine is 28lbs and very petite. Best bet is to look for a petite mother and choose a female pup. They can get as big as 50lbs for a heavyset male.

look at French Brittanies, they are smaller in size than the american breed and are tri-colored

Brittanies are considered to be medium sized dogs, not too big nor not too small. They won't go under 20 inches, normally. There is no smaller version of a brittany like the size variation in french poodles, about 5 different sizes.
