Have you had this Boxer from a puppy, or did you adopt from a rescue/shelter? If you adopted after the boxer had already been in a home(s), I would say that he/she has been abused in the past. I'm not certain as to what to do, but you will need to build trust. When around the dog, don't make sudden movements, make sure they are purposeful, also, always talk to him/her in a very soft, sweet tone. Even if you are not talking to the dog, eg. you are getting a glass of water and the dog is sleeping on the couch, I would still talk the dog through what you are doing. Also, have a schedule, if at all possible. This will help to establish normalcy, create a routine. Once the dog feels safe, secure, and begins to trust you, his/her actions will change. It is going to take time, because whatever the reason, I would say your dog is scared and doesn't trust you or any other person. Good luck!
