what to do if they have skin rash and hair loss

You can get specialty shampoo from your vet. You wet and lather the boxer, then rinse. Then lather again, and let it set for 5-20 minutes (depending on the brand, the bottle will give you directions). You also may want to check for fleas or mites. They can be sneaky, and can cause hairloss with infestation. Good luck!

Mine had a terrible problem with skin rash, hair loss and scaly "elephant" skin. It was all caused by allergies that also manifested in a yeast infection. He went on anti yeast meds and I give him weekly allergy shots. His coat is now shiny and beautiful with no bald scaly patches anymore. Definitely have a vet check your dog. You'll have to work at it, but there is a solution.
