Bouviers are wonderful dogs and it would get along with any dog and/or human. They love to play so it may require training but they live to please their owners.

Bouviers don't naturally get along with other dogs, particularly the males. That's why they only rate one bar on the scale with this question.

I owned a Bouvier, and she was a great dog. Loved people, but was not good with other dogs when she became an adult. I also had a springer spaniel at the time. She was 5 yrs old. As my bouvier got older and bigger she became very aggressive to my springer. Thats the only complaint I had about her. She was wonderful.

I don't agree with "good with other dog" scale";I've lived with this Bouvier breed all my life and I can tell you that they do very well with other dogs. Currently have two, one male and one female.

Our Bouvier got along beautifully with our Shitzus like brothers. However, my son has a Rotweiler and she is aggressive so they did not get along at all. Couldn't keep them in the same room together. The Bouvier is very protective of their human. They just need to be trained as young pups who is ok and not same as any dog. The most wonderful loving dog we have ever had.

If raised with other dogs from puppyhood Bouvier's can be great with all kinds of other pets. My older Bouviers excepted my Mini Aussie after a very short period even though he is very annoying.
