BCs need a lot of mental stimulation and exercise. Thanks to their herding drive they're compulsive herders and stalkers. They prone to separation anxiety and are sensitive to loud noises. BC need a lot of socialization and training. They're also excellent escape artists.

Some border collies do fine with loud noises. They do like to keep busy by playing ball etc. seems to keep them happy. They like a job like keeping deer and other critters out of the yard.

Border Collies are lovable, energenic, and love to swim.
