Border Collie Question

2 yr old pooping in house

My 2 yr old Border Collie started having seizure problems at about 1 yr old we were trying to get the meds dialed in and he had a big one at abot 1 1/2 yr old. he was house broken at about 4 months old since that big sezure we had to start all over again with him but the big problem is he will ring the bell to go outside and spend quite a bit of time outside then he will come in walk down to the den and pee and or poop on the floor not sure which way to go with this any more he is his normal self but this problem any advixe would be apreciated ...Pee

The best thing to do is to have the dog tethered to you or crated when he is in the house. When he needs to go out, go out WITH him and make sure he uses the bathroom. If he hasn't, do not bring him back in. If he is out for 30 minutes, then bring him back in and either tether him to you or crate him. When he starts to sniff or asks to go back out, take him out and stay with him unless he uses the bathroom. Praise lavishly when he uses the bathroom outside. Use an enzyme cleaner such as 'Nature's Miracle' to clean up all of his messes and where he has messed in the past.
