why do bluetick puppies growl

All dog's growl. They do it to warn another puppy, animal or human that something is upsetting them, frightening them, threatening them. Puppies learn their manner's/behavior's from their mother and other siblings. So puppies will growl at each other and different things when they are young to test out what reactions they get.
