I have a 4 year old male Beauceron that is unneutered. I have never seen the reason too because he is so loving and nurturing. Although no matter how much I feed him he will not gain weight. Most of the time you can see his ribs and feel his hip bones. He is current on his shots, but I was curious if getting him neutered would help him gain some weight. Or is there something else I can do?

Ask a vet to check him for worms, heart worms, a thyroid disorder, and other medical issues that commonly affect weight. Also discuss his diet with a vet. Make sure you are feeding your Beauceron enough of a high quality food.
