A lot of my friends have beagles and they say that they love them. Do you think I should believe...


A lot of my friends have beagles and they say that they love them. Do you think I should believe them? I know they are known to bark a lot!!!! Especially at the mail man and the garbage truck. Do they dig in the trash? Do they easily get fleas? Are you a beagle owner if you answer this question? Sorry if this is long but i'm pretty enthusiastic about them, and I want to know more. I personally think they are sweet. I want one and i'm 9 years old.

I think you better talk to a breeder first! Or look up info on the breed. Any dog can get fleas!! Any dog will get in the trash if it is easily accessible!! I believe you will need to be trained first! P.S. My adopted beagle only barks for her supper or when she's excited to see me!

My Beagle is 6 month and barely ever barks, howl once in a while while playing, and cries when I dont play with him for more than 5 min. All in all, all those will mostly depend on how you train him. But 4th dog i had, and best one I ever had. love it
