Not all Beagles are tri colored, some are white and tan. If its a puppy, and only has dark brown and white, he will probably get tan later too, as some of the dark brown tends to get clearer as they grow up. Mine was only dark brown and white when I got him at 2.5 month, hes now 6 months and already half is head is tan.
