I am thinking to get a male beagle but i have a different dog and she is a mix lab/golden a friend told me pure don't get along well with mixes should i be concerned?

I feel that your friend is mistaken. My father and sister are both dog breeders/trainers, so there are lots of pure breeds and mixes interacting at their business. The only problems arise from the dogs that need socializing. Plus, Beagles are notorious for pack interaction and gentle nature. I have a Beagle/Basset mix now and there is no dog that he doesn't like. Your dogs should be fine as long as your mix is properly socialized. Good luck with the Beagle, they are "special" to train, stock up on treats as it was the only way I was able to train my Beagles.
