Basset Hound Question

My dog is not a Bassett Hound but a Great Pyrenees, the vet told us that the bumps on her hears were fly bites

My basset has them all over her back end on her back. The vet told us its puss pockets, I think its more then that though. She had one removed and it was not cancer so I am not sure what to think. My dog is 11 years old.

We have the best bassett and she is 11yrs old. She gets bumps different places on her body. I took her to the vet and he said she had clogged pores and he shaved alittle spot and poked it and puss came out like a pimple. We have to take her in reg. and have this done otherwise they will continue to grow and then we'll have to have surgery to remove them like one that she had on her leg. It got so large it would scrape the ground when she walked and then bleed. We thought it was cancer. Now I have them removed much sooner. We feel your pain!

it could just be fat deposits...its common for all dogs to have them
