My 3 yr old Bassett male was attacked by a pitt on Saturday night. He seems to be ok one day and then down the next. He is very lethargic and I am having a hard time getting him to eat or drink anything. I thought he was bleeding from his mouth last night but discovered that he has a cut on his mouth. What can I feed him to give him strength?

Don't feed your Bassett anything. GET HIM TO A VET!! It doesn't matter what breed of dog attacked him, but he could have internal issues. Refusing to eat means that his stomach or insides hurt and he is trying to tell you something. Do the right thing and get him to a vet a.s.a.p!
