The cheapest Basset Hound we've found was $150, but they were all gone so we had to pay $300 for CKC registered! Most we looked at (after hours and hours of searching) were 350+.. Some were 800 and 1,200!!!

We got our basset at the local animal shelter. He was 6 weeks old, neutered, microchipped, and the adoption fee was $80. Check into your local shelter. There are also basset hound rescue groups in many states
