I have 2 half brothers basenjis 1 year old and 7 months. They grew up together but 2 weeks ago they don't stop fighting. Next week they "ll be neutered. I know it is not enough, could you tell me what else can I do to keep them together?

Basenji is a "pack breed".. and therefore have leaders.. it is possible that one will eventually dominate, and therefore be "the leader".. at that point respect by the "loser" will take place and the constant fighting will stop.. They will still have their spats.. However the dominate of the two, will not abuse it's power for they are still family and a "pack".. I had the same situation, and they lived happily for about 12years..

it probably is because they are both un-neutered and if there are females around (in home or neighborhood) and they are in heat, two in tact males will attack each other to prove dominance in order to obtain breeding rights.
