How often can i leave an Aussie at home alone before it gets destructive?

That will totally depend on the individual dog, and many other factors such as how much physical and mental exericise the dog gets when you are at home. Aussies tend to be smart and driven, so do get bored and destructive if their needs for mental stimulation and physical exercise are not met.

My Aussie does perfect at home while I'm away, she never gets destructive but is disappointed when we leave. It really just depends on the individual dog. But I would not suggust leaving an Aussie home all day all the time, like when you go to work all day, everyday when nobody's home. Once again it depends on the dog, but many can do well being at the house all day once in a while. There most likely to be good while your gone if they get anough exercise!
