We have an Argentine Dogo and he is great around kids. My 1 year old can lay with him with no problems. It depends on how they are raised honestly.

I have an Argentine Dogo (male) he's so awesome! He's a great protector. He would never let anyone intrude in my house, which I like. I also have two children. A 7yr old and a 4yr old. MY kids could do absolutely anything to him and he doesn't budge. Wonderful companion.

I have a 4 year old male Dogo and he is the best dog I have ever seen with kids! I have a one year old and a 4 year old and they can be pretty brutal to the poor dog sometimes but he would let them torture him and would never turn on them. Of course I t is how they are rased also but I think once they know who it is that they are supose to protect they are not going to do anything to hurt them.

My daughter was attacked by a young, male Dogo that she had lived with for over a year. He was one of three Dogos living with her at the time. The other two Dogos were neutered females. The attack could have been worse, but my daughter was lucky. Please be aware of the non-neutered male Dogo.
