Most American Pit Bull Terriers are also dual registered as American Stafforshire Terriers, C.Z. Bennet and John P. Colby both registered their pure bred dogs with two registries claiming both breeds...History proves these dogs have been the same breed since we imported the original Bull and Terrier dogs from England and Ireland that created the American Pit Bull Terriers, American Staffordshire Terriers, Staffordshire Terriers, American Bully Breeds and staffordshire Bull Terriers we see today. I say if their both papered, and both dogs would compliment each other than breeding should continue!! Good luck
