I have an eight month old blue pit and she hasn't got her period - is it possible that she can't produce babies?

it might happen to be that she's not ready to be on her period yet. many dogs can't be bred until they are two years of age.

My Pit didn't come into heat until 18 months and then just once a year afterwards. She will probably have larger litters. My dog would have 12 to 16 pups at a time and all would live.
