Would the Alapaha Blue Blood Bulldog breed be a good choice for someone who has a 2yr. old and 4yr. old?? Are they easy to train, so it'll be obedient for children/adults?? thanks:) P.S. what is the common price for this breed??

I have an Alapaha Blue Blood Bulldog and i would suggest getting a smaller dog if you have you children. It is a type of dog that jumps and always wants to play, but as smart as it is, it doesn't always cooperate. They are very friendly dogs but they may be rough with young children not noticing how fragile they are. If you are willing to get one and train it you should get it, but i warn if you do not want a hyper, active dog do not get one. I suggest as another choice a big family dog such as a St. Bernard or a Cane Corso.

My Alapaha Blue Blood Bulldog boy is one of the calmest and gentlest puppies I have ever seen! He is great with my 6 and 3 yr old he is 7 months old this month. I have even had friends comment on how he is the type of puppy that makes people want a puppy due to how calm and chill he is. I would reccomend this breed to anyone!!!

Our 1 year old female alapaha blue blood bulldog does great with our 3 year old son. She can get a little excited at times, but for the most part she is very gentle with him and they play together all of the time. My son's sits on her back, plays fetch with her and can even give a commands with no problem. I would suggest maybe an alapaha between the ages of 9 months and 1 year because young puppies do not know their strength and can easily knock down a child during play.
