Not if the Alapaha Blue Blood Bulldog is taught not to. I have 9 of them and they are all perfectly behaved with my 5 year old. She has grown up with Alapahas and has never been pushed, jumped on, mouthed on, or disrespected by them in anyway. She climbs all over them and walks them and even shows them. Alapahas by nature are not hyper dogs. But like any breed if allowed to get away with jumping ,rough housing or chewing on people they will. They are a bully breed and will test the limits like a toddler will. And if left out in the yard and not kept as a part of the family an Alapaha could become hyper, and aggressive. They need an alpha leader and good socialization and then they are the greatest family companion dogs you will ever find.
