Can Alaskan Klee Kai be an outside dog?

No, because Alaskan Klee Kai's are known to easily jump over six foot fences, I knew a AKK that climbed a tree. They should always be on a leash while on a walk and should be watched while out side in the yard

Depends on what you mean by outside dog. Like any other dog, the alaskan klee kai likes going out and having exercise but this one should not be predominately outside because of its small stature. I would guess it does not tolerate cold as well as its larger counterpart.

i own Alaskan Klee Kais, and have a six foot fence. My dogs have NEVER jumped the fence and since they stand appx a foot high arent likely to either. The biggest concern would be them digging UNDER the fence, which we prevent by burying a portion of the bottom of the fence on install. I have never seen an AKK climb a tree, or escape our yard which has multiple trees in it.
