We use pup-peronis for ours; he loves them!

I have a 9month old akita and I boil chicken breasts, and then put them in the dehydrater. I keep them in the fridge for him too. He loves it!

Our Akita loves old mother hubbard, cloud star, and natural balance ( food/treat rolls ) brands these were all amazingly affective treats for training him... Good luck to you with yours. Hope this helps :-)

I use roast chicken, it's the only thing my akita likes too

My female akita was the same way. When she was younger I couldnt find anything that would "hold" her attention let alone get her to eat it. She has gotten better over the years but she's fussy. She takes it real gently and then she'll play with it in her mouth and then decide if she wants to eat it. Best thing to do it to try different things even foods you have around the house. Some dogs will virtually eat anything and some are very picky. I've had a Jack Russel that loved bananas and I've known dogs that would eat carrots or apples.
