Airedale Terrier Question

If you get the airedale terrior as a very young pup you will not have any problems. It will require exercise and firm training. In the beginning you need to let it know that you and your child are the boss. After firm training they are fantastic. They play hard, so you need to watch, but they are great at agility, and are loyal. Airedale terrior's love kids, and love to be part of the family. Funny dogs just remember to train firmly, but they respond best with positive reinforcement.

Can't comment about the kitten, but our Airedale was outstanding with our grandchildren, starting from infancy. They crawled over her, poked her in the fact and pulled her tail without once provoking her. She was very protective of them all and even paced in front of the stairs, thereby preventing one of them (still just crawling) from starting up the stairs. I doubt there's a better dog for children.

We had 2 airedales when our son was born. They adored him and always protected him. As to a cat, I wouldn't expect a problem
