Only if you pluck them. You can get the airedale cut with shaving at the groomer.

Grooming: It depends if you decide to get her clipped or hand stripped. Clipping is much quicker and cheaper but the finish isn't as nice. Hand stripping can take hours but i think it looks much better. It also depends on your local groomers available, you can do it your self but the result can look untidy (and it takes hours and hours!!). As for being good with other dogs ours gets on with many different dogs. She is very friendly (bouncy and very playful!) so this can put some dogs off but they always get on in the end.

What we do is take ours to the groomer to get groomed because it can be very difficult. Or you can just leave their fluffy hair long and keep it brused and cleaned, thats cute too. As far as good with other dogs, ours is very well behaved with ours but we have raised them together since birth. Once our airedale got out and wasnt aggresive to another dog, but if fought with they wont back down
