Over the last few months we have made great strides towards making Next Day Pets even more secure and scam free.  However, with all the advanced fraud screening tools we've deployed scam artists are now attempting to hijack your Next Day Pets account.  Scammers are finding it ever more difficult to register as an advertiser and post fake ads so they are now resorting to a scam known as phishing. 

Phishing is a sophisticated scam used to gain access to millions of accounts ranging from bank accounts to email accounts and even NextDayPets.com accounts.  Phishing is a way of attempting to acquire information such as usernames and passwords by masquerading or spoofing an trustworthy entity or web page such as the nextdaypets.com login page.

Problem: You may have received an email from a so-called perspective buyer with a link to view his/her puppies.  When you click this link it takes you to a page that looks identical to the nextdaypets.com login page. If you do not check to make sure you are on the real nextdaypets.com login page before entering your username and password then your login information has been stolen.

If you received an email, similar to the one below, DO NOT CLICK THE LINK!  If you do, the hijacker now has access to your Next Day Pets account and can/will post fraudulent ads causing your account to be marked as fraud.  Report fraud to support immediately.  

PHISHING EMAIL EXAMPLE:   "Thank you so much for your mail im so happy to read from you im very interested in your lovely puppies but i will like you to have a look at my puppy on nextday if you have exact match for me that will be great, my puppy passed out 2weeks ago and i miss him so much and i really need a puppy like him. View my puppy on nextdaypets. "

Solution: Please review the links below showing you a screenshot of how to make certain you are physically signing into the trusted nextdaypets.com website and not falling victim to a phishing scam.

Report Fraud: If you have fallen victim of this elaborate scam please first login to your nextdaypets.com account and change your password then contact support immediately.
