Choosing a Breed
How do I know what breed is right for me?
We offer several free tools to help guide you in this decision. We feature an informational section titled “Dog Breeds”, a tool called “BreedMatch” and another feature called “PuppyMatch”. We also offer articles for you to read and learn.
“Dog Breeds” is a feature we offer on our site that lists over 300 individual dog breed profiles. Each dog breed has its own profile that states basic characteristics. You can read and research these profiles to find the perfect breed for you.
“BreedMatch” is a tool we have developed that will recommend breeds based on key criteria. Simply adjust the sliders to the left or right (1 being the smallest/least and 7 being the largest/greatest). Your results will appear below the sliders.
“PuppyMatch” is our new Wanted Ads section. When filling out a Puppy Match profile, your profile will be inserted into the Wanted Ads section giving every breeder access to view your profile and help place a new companion in your life.
