Photo & Video Contest Rules

Term:
NextDayPets.com Photo and Video Contest runs on a six (6) week cycle. Submissions and votes will be accepted for four (4) weeks from the “Start Date,” which will be published in the contest section of NextDayPets.com. For the two (2) weeks following, votes will be accepted, and any further submissions will be held until the following cycle. At the end of six weeks, votes will be tabulated and a winner announced. Submission of a photo or video is an agreement to the rules of the contest and that the individual is 18 years old and older.

Who may enter:
Individuals 18 and over—except for individuals affiliated with the NextDayPets.com, including employees and their immediate families and others living in their households—are eligible. NextDayPets.com management will determine winners' eligibility.

Rules:
If the animal photo or video has a recognizable person in the image, a model release must be secured from the subject or (if under 18) the subject's parent or guardian and provide it to Next Day Pets, LLC upon request.

A sample release is available at http://www.nextdaypets.com/assets/includes/photos/release.aspx Photos that violate or infringe upon another person's copyright are not eligible.

How to enter:
Please submit photographs and videos on-line through our Web site http://www.nextdaypets.com/directory/dogs/dog_picture for animal pictures and http://www.nextdaypets.com/directory/dogs/dog_videos for animal videos.

We will not accept photographs submitted through the mail. If you mail your photos we will not return them to you. Picture files submitted may not be larger than 10MB, video files may not be larger than 300 MB. By entering the contest, entrants grant NextDayPets.com full ownership and use of the image for any and all purposes.

Judging:
Winners will be chosen based on the highest rating by viewers. Ties will be decided based on the overall number of votes. In order to win, a submitted photo/video must have a number of votes equal to or greater than the average number of votes per photo/video during that contest cycle. Please do not contact us about the status of entries.

Only one vote is allowed per person. Fraudulent submissions/votes will be handled at the discretion of NextDayPets.com.

The contest is void where prohibited or restricted by law. NextDayPets.com reserves the right to cancel the contest or modify these rules at its discretion. Decisions of NextDayPets.com will be final.

Winners will receive a $100 www.NextDayPets.com Coupon to be used only on NextDayPets.com.
