Anonymous asked:
Are Pyrenean Mastiffs expensive? Are they good with kids like me? I want to buy one and I am 13. I wonder if it would be loving and affectionate and not have a protective instinct all the time.

Pyrenean Mastiffs can be pretty expensive, depending on where you get it from. They are very, very loving and affectionate dogs, but also very protective. Protective dogs usually need owners very capable of being the "pack leader".

I have a Pyrenean Mastiff and she can be very playful, but not super affectionate.

Yes, I have done a lot of research and Pyrenean Mastiffs seem very affectionate.

The videos of Pyrenean Mastiffs make them seem like they would be very playful and affectionate. They are good with other dogs and they love to be loved. I had to write a 4-page essay research report on them and honestly, I have found NOTHING negative about them! That's hard to find in a dog.
